Rachel Hencher

Rachel Hencher currently serves as an ORISE Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where work focuses on enhancing and analyzing a multimedia monitoring database to support regulatory assessments and predictive models related to environmental exposure to chemicals. Prior experience includes roles as a Business Analyst and Accounts Payable Manager at Blue Star Camps, overseeing financial operations and budgeting. Rachel also taught mathematics at both Saint Mary's School and Fortismere School, instructing students across various grade levels and subjects, including advanced calculus and computer science. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University, a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
