Sara DeCair has extensive experience in radiological emergency preparedness, currently serving as Associate Director at the Center for Science, Radiation Protection, within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency since October 2003. Previous roles include Associate Director at the Center for Science & Technology and Health Physicist at the U.S. EPA. Prior to this, Sara worked as a Physicist for the State of Michigan from October 1997 to September 2003, focusing on radioactive materials registration, inspections, and emergency response. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Hope College, obtained between 1991 and 1996.
