Sonam Gill

Sonam Gill is an experienced professional at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with a focus on intergovernmental relations and environmental policy. Since September 2013, Sonam has served as States Liaison, advising on intergovernmental affairs and collaborating with over 55 elected officials and leaders to advance the agency's goals. Previous roles at the EPA include Special Assistant, where Sonam supported senior officials and led a notable public-private partnership, and Public Affairs Specialist, responsible for strategic communications for the Western U.S. Sonam's early career involved managing pesticide regulatory programs and performing environmental justice screenings. Educational credentials include a dual MS/MBA in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco and dual bachelor’s degrees in Ecology and Evolution and Black Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
