Vanessa Elizabeth has extensive experience in environmental engineering and program management, currently serving as the Superfund Program NPL Rule Manager at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since March 2020, where responsibilities include coordinating the publication of rules for hazardous waste sites. Prior roles at the EPA encompassed various engineering positions focused on environmental assessments, community health priorities, and women's advancement in STEM fields. Additional experience includes teaching English as a Second Language at Center of Help, Inc., aerospace engineering at Delta Air Lines, and process engineering at Procter & Gamble. Vanessa has contributed to international projects through Engineers Without Borders USA and has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida, complemented by international studies at institutions such as MITx and SKEMA Business School.
