Director Of IT Operations at US Foot & Ankle Specialists

Rory Callahan has over a decade of work experience in IT operations and management. Rory is currently working as the Director of IT Operations at US Foot & Ankle Specialists since August 2022. Prior to this, Rory held the position of IT Director at LSO - Regional Shipping Services from March 2021 to January 2023, where they oversaw the strategic execution and daily operations of a 10-member IT team supporting 27 locations nationwide. Rory also restructured staffing, policies, procedures, and the ticketing system to create a cost-effective and high-performance support center.

Before their role at LSO, Rory worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at ACCC Insurance Company from March 2018 to March 2021. During their tenure, they collaborated with senior leadership to implement technology solutions that resulted in yearly savings of over $450,000. Rory also managed IT operations and delivered 12 major projects, enhancing systems, workflows, and business processes in accordance with business leaders' requirements.

Prior to ACCC Insurance Company, Rory embarked on a thru-hiking journey along the Appalachian Trail from April 2017 to September 2017. Rory also accumulated experience as a Systems Administrator at Xirtix Consulting, LLC from July 2015 to March 2017, where they successfully delivered 10 major projects and managed LAN, virtual environments, and help desk operations.

Rory's career began at the Harris County Sheriff's Office in November 2012, where they served as a Systems Administrator. During this time, they contributed to the deployment and maintenance of a state-funded Electronic Medical Records project and managed the server infrastructure.

In their earlier years, Rory worked as a PC Support Team Lead at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, leading a team that resolved PC and hardware support tickets for internal staff and national car dealership clients.

Overall, Rory's work experience demonstrates their expertise in IT operations, strategic planning, project delivery, staff management, and technology solutions implementation.

Rory Callahan attended Texas A&M University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English. In addition to their formal education, Rory has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they obtained the VCP5-DCV certification from VMware. In 2016, Rory obtained the Microsoft MCSA Server 2012 certification from Microsoft. Finally, in August 2020, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
