Director Of Operations And Strategic Business Development at US Ghost Adventures

Josef Kruger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Josef began their career as an Adjunct Faculty for the Department of Communication & Journalism at Washington Adventist University in 2009. Josef then worked as an ESL Teacher at Casa de Maryland from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a Night Manager and Shift Supervisor at Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter. Following this, they joined Thrive Endeavours as a Nonprofit Strategic Planner, Editor, and Photographer from 2011 to 2012.

In 2013, Kruger started working at McDonald's, initially as a Shift Manager and Crew Trainer, and later as a Training and People Manager. Josef was then promoted to Guest Services Manager, where they implemented the "Customer Obsessed" environment and achieved high customer satisfaction ratings. From 2015 to 2016, they held the position of General Manager and Assistant Store Manager at McDonald's.

In 2016, Kruger joined Domino's as an Assistant Manager and was later promoted to General Manager. Under their leadership, the store achieved significant sales growth and profits, leading to a complete store remodel to handle the increasing sales.

Kruger joined Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers in 2018 as a Shift Supervisor and subsequently held the roles of Assistant Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Manager. Josef contributed to the brand's overall guest experience and franchise sales growth through prioritizing food quality, service excellence, and operational organization.

From 2019, Kruger ventured into the tourism industry, first joining US Ghost Tours as a Marketing Manager. In 2020, they transitioned to Junket as a Project Consultant, where they contributed to the development and distribution of location-based virtual interactive experiences.

Most recently, Kruger was appointed as the Director of Operations and Business Development at US Ghost Adventures in January 2022. Josef is responsible for overseeing the company's operations and driving business development initiatives.

Throughout their career, Kruger has demonstrated strong leadership, creativity, and a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence in various industries.

Josef Kruger earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics, as well as Pre-law, from Washington Adventist University. Josef pursued their degree from 2001 to 2007. During the same period, they also obtained a BA from the same university with a focus on Public Communication, specifically with an intercultural emphasis, and a minor in Writing. In July 2008, Josef Kruger received certification as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician - Basic from the Virginia Department of Health.
