John Underwood serves as the Vice President of Treasury at US Heart and Vascular since September 2023, focusing on innovating cardiovascular care systems. Previously, John held significant roles at U.S. Xpress, Inc. from 2019 to July 2023, culminating in the Vice President of Finance position, where responsibilities included managing liquidity and developing a strategic capital plan. Prior experience at Basic Energy Services from 2012 to 2019 included various leadership positions, such as Senior Director of Financial Services and Assistant Treasurer, achieving capital efficiency targets and improving liquidity through innovative financing structures. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from Midwestern State University and a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Phoenix.
