Andrew Bishop

Andrew Bishop is an experienced molecular biologist and biochemist currently serving as the Deputy Director of Laboratory Services with the US Navy. They previously held positions as an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a Staff Scientist I at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute. Andrew's research interests include examining metabolism in complex diseases through mass spectrometry techniques, aiming to establish standardized metabolomics methods. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Biology from Duquesne University.
