Clifton Anton Canady

Clifton Anton Canady has a diverse professional background encompassing roles in education and military service. Currently serving as a Logistics Specialist with the US Navy since July 2018, Clifton also works as a Mathematics Teacher at Decatur City Schools, teaching 7th grade mathematics. Additional experience includes serving as an Electronic Technician in the US Navy Reserve since October 2013 and as an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia College since November 2008, focusing on general education with an emphasis on Mathematics and Communications. Previous teaching positions include mathematics instruction at PD Jackson-Olin High School and Woodlawn High School, alongside tenure at LaVergne High School in Rutherford County Schools. Clifton holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Mathematics) from Alabama A&M University.
