Garrett Speed

Garrett Speed is an experienced Machinist Mate in the US Navy since April 2014, serving in various leadership roles, including Engineering Department Leading Petty Officer, where leadership of a 16-sailor division led to successful inspections and training of over 1000 individuals. As a Nuclear Machinist Mate First Class, Garrett has held multiple responsibilities, including Assistant Quality Assurance Officer and Master Training Specialist, effectively overseeing qualifications of junior personnel and managing quality assurance processes during critical submarine operations. In addition to military service, Garrett recently served as a Maintenance Planner and Supervisor at Nippon Dynawave Packaging Co. and as an Instructor at the Submarine Training Facility in San Diego. Education includes completion of Nuclear Power School at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command from 2014 to 2016.
