Janel Zarkowsky

Janel Zarkowsky is the current Siebel Sailors Program Coach at US Sailing. Janel has also worked at the United States Naval Academy, Georgetown University, Piers Park Sailing Center, VISIONWORKSHOPS INC, Epic Match Racing Team, and Greenwich Bay Sailing Assoc. Janel has been sailing for most of their life and has been coaching sailing for over 10 years.

Janel Zarkowsky has a Master of Professional Science from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies in Project Management, a Master of Science from Boston University Metropolitan College in Arts Administration, and a Graduate Certificate from Boston University Metropolitan College in Fundraising Management. Janel also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in Musicology & Cello Performance. In addition, they are certified by the U.S. Coast Guard in VA, MD & DC Boating Safety Education, the American Red Cross in CPR, AED & First Aid, and US Sailing in Basic Keelboat Instructor, Level 1 Small Boat Instructor, Level 2 Small Boat Instructor, and Level 3 Small Boat Instructor.

Their manager is John Pearce, Youth Competition Manager. They are on a team with Michael Cornew - Siebel Sailors Program Coach, Chris Childers - Philanthropy Manager, and Jen Guimaraes - Youth Education Manager.
