Richard Feeny

Richard Feeny is the founder and director of Feeny Sailing Enterprises, LLC, a sailing school specializing in catamarans, and currently serves as the Education Coordinator at Community Boating Center, Inc. of New Bedford. With extensive experience in sailing instruction and coaching, Richard Feeny has held various roles including Optimist Sailing Coach for USODA and Instructor and Coach Trainer for US SAILING, where contributions as Youth National Coach were notable in 2013 and 2014. Previous positions include Project Manager at Gunboat overseeing refits, as well as Director of Education and Programs at Herreshoff Marine Museum, where program development was a key focus. Richard Feeny also has a strong background in quality control for wind turbine manufacturing and has directed youth sailing programs at esteemed yacht clubs. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Philosophy from Brown University.
