U.S. Secret Service
Daniel J. Ternovan currently serves as a Law Enforcement Specialist, Instructor, and FAA Remote Pilot Small Unmanned Aircraft System with the U.S. Secret Service since January 2022. Previously, Daniel held the position of Director of Operations for the National Capital Region Executive Protection and Canine Explosives Detection at MSA Security from January 2019 to October 2021. Daniel's extensive experience at the U.S. Secret Service includes roles as an Operational Inspector, Deputy Branch Commander overseeing multiple security units, and Captain within the Special Operations Branch where Daniel managed policy and budget oversight. Additional previous roles involved compliance with Active Shooter policy development and command within various operational security details. Daniel's educational background includes studies at the University of North Alabama and participation in the FBI National Academy, Session #262.
