U.S. Secret Service
Steve Roncone is the United States Secret Service Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he is responsible for the development, execution, and stewardship of the Secret Service’s resources. Additionally, Mr. Roncone oversees a financial team that includes experts in the budget, financial management, relocation, and financial systems.
Prior to joining the Secret Service, Mr. Roncone served as an Assistant Director and Chief Financial Officer with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement between 2017 and 2023. He led more than 400 professionals across financial operations including two finance centers, asset management, audit and assurance, and budget including responsibility for $8.7 billion in appropriations. During his time, he increased budget authority by 36% and the workforce by 8%. Through his leadership, ICE played a prominent role in contributing to DHS’ tenth consecutive clean audit opinion on the DHS financial statements.
