Nora Osei has a diverse background in sports camps and youth programs. Nora started their career as a Sports Information Intern at Eastern Mennonite University, where they conducted interviews with varsity athletes and wrote featured articles. Nora later worked as an Admissions Counselor/Recruiter, where they planned and implemented recruitment strategies and managed communication with high schools and counselors.
Nora then took on the role of Counselor In Training Summer Camp Coordinator at Princeton University, where they taught and mentored students on camp counseling skills. Nora also worked as a Graduate Assistant for Sports Clubs and Youth Programs at James Madison University, coordinating operational and programming aspects of sport clubs.
Moving forward, Nora joined Rutgers University as a Summer Camp Director for the Adventure Camp and a Sport Club Coordinator, providing oversight and support to both camps and sport clubs. Nora then moved on to Princeton University, serving as a Rugby & Summer Camp Coordinator, collaborating with university departments and alumni to enhance rugby programs and coordinating a free online tutoring resource for underserved students.
Nora further expanded their experience at Life Time Inc. as a Kids Academy, Kids Sports Instructor, teaching sports and recreation classes to children of all abilities. Nora also worked as a Regional Manager at Legarza Sports, overseeing day-to-day operations for youth summer camps in the greater Silicon Valley.
Most recently, Nora worked at Compass as a Strategic Growth Partner, contributing to the company's growth initiatives. Currently, they are the Director of Growth, Partnerships & Camp Management at US Sports Camps, where they oversee camp operations and facilitates partnerships.
Overall, Nora has demonstrated a strong passion for sports and youth development throughout their career, taking on various leadership and coordination roles in camp management and sports programs.
Nora Osei's education history begins with their completion of a High Advanced High School Studies Diploma at West Springfield High School from 2007 to 2011. Nora then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Eastern Mennonite University from 2011 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, Nora went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport and Recreational Leadership, focusing on Campus Recreation, at James Madison University from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Nora has also acquired additional certifications. In June 2020, they became a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Most recently, in July 2022, they completed a course titled "How to Create a Perfect Elevator Pitch" on LinkedIn.
