Jim McAuliffe

Jim McAuliffe, AIA, is an experienced architect and director with a robust career in architecture and urban design. Currently serving as Associate and Director of the Philadelphia Studio at USA Architects, Planners + Interior Designers since January 2017, Jim has previously held significant roles including Principal at McAuliffe + Carroll Architects LLC, Project Architect/Project Manager at Hayden Architecture & Urban Design, and Project Architect at Daroff Design Inc. Notable projects include the expansion of Philadelphia International Airport Terminal B/C Connector and various office renovations for high-profile clients. Jim is a founding partner of The Building Studio and has held project architect positions with several firms, focusing on both renovations and adaptive reuse across diverse projects. Jim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and a Certificate of Design from the University of Copenhagen.
