John Muse's work experience includes various roles and positions in different companies. John served as the VP of Sport at USA Climbing from August 2016 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Level 1 & 2 Routesetting Instructor and National Chief Routesetter at the same company. John also worked at Stone Moves as a Certified Personal Trainer and President from December 2013 to August 2016. In addition, John worked as a Physical Education Teacher and Generalist 4-8 Teacher at Texas Certified Teacher from June 2012 to August 2016. Furthermore, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Lone Star College from August 2006 to May 2016.

John Muse attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1994 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of General Studies degree with a focus on Health and Wellness, General.
