Steven Wendell

Steven Wendell is an experienced leader in the Jewish community sector, currently serving as a USA Pickleball Ambassador since January 2023. Prior roles include Executive Director of the United Jewish Community of the Virginia Peninsula from July 2014 to August 2022 and President and CEO of the Jewish Community Center and UJA/Federation of Eastern Fairfield County from August 2010 to June 2014, where Steven oversaw a combined staff of 150. Additional experience includes positions such as Director of Development at Ezra Academy, Executive Director of Circle Lodge/Camp Kinder Ring, and Director of American Programs at Young Judaea. Steven also held leadership roles at the JCC of Greater Pittsburgh and Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh, PA. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Bridgeport and an Associate's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Iowa.
