Samantha Malette, LAT, ATC, NREMT, currently serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for USA Rugby and the Chicago Hounds. With extensive experience in athletic training, Samantha has been involved with Premier Rugby Sevens since June 2022 and previously held the position of Lead Athletic Trainer at Ascension. Additional roles include Associate Athletic Trainer at Life University, where Samantha focused on Men's Rugby, and Certified Athletic Trainer at Wofford College. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Springfield College, complemented by various positions in sports camps and training environments throughout earlier career stages.

Established in 1975, USA Rugby is the governing body for the sport of rugby in the United States and a Full Sport Member of the United States Olympic Committee. Currently headquartered in Glendale, Colorado, USA Rugby is charged with developing the game on all levels and has more than 100,000 active members across the Youth, High School, College and Senior Club level. USA Rugby oversees four senior national teams, multiple junior national development programs and an emerging Olympic development pathway for elite athletes.
