Sarah Bass

Sarah Bass is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic initiatives, human resources, and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at USA TODAY NETWORK Ventures since August 2015. In this role, Sarah collaborates with the Chief Strategy Officer and the senior leadership team to enhance key strategic projects and foster a positive organizational culture. Previously, Sarah held the position of Director of Human Resources & Operations at USA TODAY NETWORK Ventures, where efforts focused on creating impactful consumer experiences. Prior to that, Sarah worked at Mississippi Media as Director of Operations and Strategy & Development Manager, and at Chattanooga Times Free Press as Human Resources Health and Safety Supervisor. Sarah began the career as a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Advisor with Fitness Together and later worked as a Strength Coach at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2009.
