Caren Bohan

Managing Editor for Politics and Washington at USA Today

Caren Bohan is the managing editor for politics and Washington at USA Today. Caren was previously the managing editor for policy at National Journal from July 2012 to March 2013, shaping content for their free web site on policy issues. Caren oversaw a team of reporters covering topics ranging from economics to immigration to national security. From July 2011 to July 2012, they were the president of the White House Correspondents Association, representing the press corps in its dealings with the White House over issues of journalist access and travel logistics. Caren also planned and organized the 2012 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. Bohan has been a domestic policy correspondent at Thomson Reuters from April 2013 to January 2014, and before that they were a white house correspondent at Thomson Reuters from September 1992 to July 2012.

Caren Bohan has a Master's in Journalism from UC Berkeley and a BA in English Literature from McGill University. Caren also has a BA in English Language and Literature/Letters from McGill University.
