Kathleen Wong

Kathleen Wong is a versatile journalist with extensive experience in consumer travel reporting and freelance writing. Currently serving as a Consumer Travel Reporter for USA TODAY since July 2022, Kathleen has also contributed to numerous esteemed publications, including The New York Times and Honolulu Magazine, as a self-employed freelance writer since 2014. Prior roles include Strategic Writer and Content Editor at Hawaii Community Foundation, Communications Manager at ACLU of Hawaii, and Digital Media Associate at Honolulu Museum of Art SEEQS. Additionally, Kathleen has held staff writer positions at both Mic and CafeMedia and completed internships at Refinery29 and Mashable.
