Susan Page is a distinguished journalist and author with extensive experience in political reporting. Currently serving as the Washington Bureau Chief and formerly as a White House Correspondent at USA TODAY since 1995, Susan has established a significant presence in reporting on national politics. Susan is also the author of two New York Times bestsellers, "Madam Speaker: Nancy Pelosi and the Lessons of Power" and "The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty," both published by Twelve/Hachette. Prior to USA TODAY, Susan worked as a White House correspondent for Newsday from 1981 to 1995. Susan holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and a Master's degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
