Armondo Ortega

Armondo Ortega is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in database administration and software engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Database Administrator at USAA since January 2006, Armondo has held various roles including Sr. Database Administrator and I/T Software/Systems Engineer I, contributing to enterprise monitoring support for IBM Tivoli and BMC Performance Assurance tools. Prior to USAA, Armondo was the Assistant Manager at Western Wats Center from January 2000 to December 2005. Armondo holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio (2008-2013) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Brigham Young University - Idaho (2003-2005).
