Christopher Awad

Christopher Awad is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as AVP, HR Business Partner at USAA since August 2025, Christopher previously held roles such as Founder and Advisor at LeaderScout, Vice President of Human Resources at Sol-Ark, and Executive HR Advisor at NexGen Power Systems. Christopher has a strong track record of enhancing talent management and company culture in organizations, including senior leadership positions at Equifax, Answers Corporation, and Sun Edison, as well as consulting roles at CMA and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Christopher holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia, a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, an MPA in Public Administration, and an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Virginia Commonwealth University, respectively.
