Gopal Kesavan

Gopal Kesavan is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Bill Pay within the Payments Technology group at USAA since September 2015, overseeing a modernization initiative for the Bill Pay service supporting 10 million banking members. Additionally, Gopal is a member of the CIO Executive Governing Body at Evanta, a Gartner Company, since September 2022. Previous experience includes roles as Technical Manager at Blackhawk Network, Engineering Manager at MedAssets, Senior Software Engineer at RealPage, Software Consultant at Rent-A-Center and Valtech, and Software Engineer at Intervoice. Gopal holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Harvard University, an MBA from Southern Methodist University, and Master's degrees in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
