Data Scientist I – Member Advanced Analytics at USAA

Heather Connelly is a data scientist with experience in advanced analytics and decision science at USAA since September 2018. In various roles, Heather has implemented predictive models to enhance digital experiences, calculated risk tradeoffs for new features, and was recognized with the Cultural Shift Pacesetter Team Award for exemplary contributions in guiding decision-making. Heather has applied data-driven insights to optimize mobile app features, spearheaded projects with Mastercard, and driven annual benefits of over $1.15 million through innovative app content. Previous internships at USAA focused on campaign performance and test-driven decision support, contributing to substantial cost savings and revenue generation. Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
