Jeffrey Loo

Jeffrey Loo is an accomplished Information Security Engineer at USAA since June 2022, focusing on maintaining the Identity Access Management platform that supports over 500,000 members and 37,000 employees daily. Previously, Jeffrey gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern, contributing to front-end design and development. Prior to USAA, Jeffrey served at NASA from August 2018 to November 2021 as a Materials and Process Engineer, supporting human spaceflight programs through nondestructive evaluation and materials testing. Earlier roles included an Engineering Intern position at NASA and a decade of service in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant specializing in Explosive Ordnance Disposal and related duties. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College and has pursued studies in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas, along with participation in the Dept of Homeland Security Nuclear Forensics Undergraduate Summer School.
