Karina Lopez, MS, CFE, currently serves as the Bank Fraud and Central Operations Strategy Rules Management Lead at USAA since February 2020, after holding various roles at the company including Lead Fraud Business Rules Analyst, Fraud Prevention Manager for Financial Crimes, Lead Fraud Prevention and Detection Analyst, Auto Adjuster II, and Claims Service Manager. Karina's earlier experience includes an internship as a Medical Investigations Intern at the Bexar County Medical Examiners Office in 2009. Educationally, Karina is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners since 2018, holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Sul Ross State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Our Lady of the Lake University, and completed an Identity Leadership Certificate at The University of Texas at Austin.
