Michael P. Anderson

Michael P. Anderson, CPA, CISA, is a credentialed Information Security and IT Governance professional with a strong background in assurance and compliance for financial institutions. Currently serving as an Information Security Assurance Assessor at USAA, they provide technical consultation and guidance while designing and optimizing assurance methods for complex projects. Previously, they held various roles in IT Audit and Compliance, including positions at Quicksilver Resources Inc. and XTO Energy, where they directed audits and managed compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Michael is also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Austin College and a Master of Science in Accounting at the University of North Texas.
