Terisa Heiman

Terisa Heiman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and education within the finance and banking sectors. Currently serving as a Business Risk and Control Advisor Lead at USAA since July 2020, Terisa has previously held significant roles including Fair and Responsible Banking Compliance Consultant at U.S. Bank and Sr. Compliance Manager for Fair Lending at BMO Financial Group. Terisa's career began with regulatory compliance consulting at BKD and has included roles focused on compliance audits and risk assessments at various financial institutions such as 1st Financial Bank USA and UMB Bank. In addition to practical experience, Terisa has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Park University, instructing students in Financial Institutions and Markets. Terisa holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance from The University of South Dakota.
