Jeff Adams, CPACC, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Since 2011, Jeff has been working at UsableNet, where they have held various positions including Director of Accessibility Operations and Director of Client Services. In these roles, Jeff has been responsible for ensuring the success of UsableNet's clients in their accessibility efforts through managed services and accessibility services. Jeff has also managed a team of client service managers and worked closely with top-tier clients to optimize their engagement with UsableNet's products and services.
In addition to their work at UsableNet, Jeff has also been involved in other ventures. Jeff co-authored a book called "Content for Everyone: A Practical Guide for Creative Entrepreneurs to Produce Accessible and Usable Web Content," which focuses on improving the usability and accessibility of web content for creative entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, Jeff has been a co-host and producer for the Big Gay Fiction Podcast, a show dedicated to queer romance fiction and other LGBTQ+ literature formats. Jeff has also worked as an Account Director and Senior Project Manager at Promotions.com, where they collaborated with clients on strategy and product development.
Earlier in their career, Jeff held positions such as Web Producer at CoolCinemaTrash.com, Executive Director of Product Development at The Princeton Review, and co-editor/co-founder of The First Line literary magazine. Jeff was also a contributing editor and managing editor at Randall Publishing Co, as well as a web producer at Dobbin/Bolgla Associates and Corporate Managing Editor at Fortuna Communications Corp.
Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated their expertise in accessibility, client services, project management, and content production, making him a valuable asset to any organization.
Jeff Adams, CPACC, obtained a BA in Communications from the University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Central High School from 1982 to 1986. In July 2020, they obtained the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competency (CPACC) certification from the IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
