Leland Kiang LICSW currently serves as the Grandfamilies & Kinship Care Program Manager at USAging since May 2022. Previously, Leland held multiple roles at IONA Senior Services, including Information & Referral Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing daily operations and training stakeholders on community resources, and Interim Eldercare Consultant, providing employee assistance to a national corporation. Leland also worked as a Geriatric Care Manager, assisting a diverse caseload with various challenges, and gained experience as a case manager during a Master of Social Work internship. Earlier career positions included supportive counseling for adults with psychiatric disabilities and development coordination at L'Arche Greater Washington, DC. Leland holds a Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

USAging
USAging is the national association representing and supporting the network of Area Agencies on Aging and advocating for the Title VI Native American Aging Programs. Our members help older adults and people with disabilities throughout the United States live with optimal health, well-being, independence and dignity in their homes and communities and support their caregivers. USAging and our members work to improve the quality of life and health of older adults and people with disabilities, including supporting people with chronic illness, people living with dementia, family caregivers and others who want to age well at home and in the community. Together, we are ensuring that all people can age well. Our members are the local leaders that develop, coordinate and deliver a wide range of home and community-based services to support people to age well, including information and referral/assistance, case management, home-delivered and congregate meals, in-home services, caregiver supports, transportation, evidence-based health and wellness programs, long-term care ombudsman programs and more. USAging is dedicated to supporting the success of our members through advancing public policy, sparking innovation, strengthening the capacity of its members, raising their visibility and working to drive excellence in the fields of aging and home and community-based services.
