Cameron Stanley is a dedicated professional with significant experience in refugee resettlement and education. Currently serving as a Program Officer for Monitoring, Reception & Placement at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants since May 2023, Cameron's previous role included working with the International Rescue Committee in various capacities, particularly focused on the Afghan Evacuee Operation. Responsibilities spanned from administrative support to overseeing quality control and managing staff for the intake of thousands of refugees. Prior experience also includes teaching English and managing yearbook publications at the American International School in Abu Dhabi, and a background in freelance editing and teaching at multiple school districts. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
