Maija Leino serves as the CEO of Useless Company Oy since February 2018. Previously, Maija was an advisor at Infine from February 2023 to June 2023 and worked as a junior researcher and research assistant at Lappeenranta University of Technology from September 2012 to December 2018. In 2014, Maija was a visiting researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, contributing to research on life cycle assessment (LCA) in additive manufacturing of plastics. Earlier experience includes a trainee position at ABB between May 2011 and August 2012, where responsibilities involved creating Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) following ISO 14025. Maija holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Environmental Technology and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in the same field, both from LUT University.
