Isabelle Banville

Isabelle serves as one of URI's Senior UX Managers. She began her career in research in her hometown of Montreal, Canada and then moved to the United States in her pursuit of higher education. After completing her Ph.D. she worked in the medical device industry for over 15 years She holds many patents and peer-reviewed publications. As a successful scientist, Isabelle developed a passion for user research and user-centered design. She values the rigor and ethical considerations reinforced through the application of standards, processes, and regulations. She has led teams of user researchers and designers for the past 7 years. Isabelle is passionate about serving the community through leadership and volunteering.
