Jan Simecka

Jan Simecka is an experienced data engineering professional with a strong background in architecture design and data integration. Currently serving as Data Engineering Team Lead and Data Engineer at Usercentrics since November 2021, Jan previously held roles as Data Engineer at Wrike and Analytics Solution Architect & Data Engineer at Sulzer, where responsibilities included designing IoT and analytical solutions on MS Azure and managing end-to-end data flows. Jan also contributed as a Solution Architect and Data Warehouse Specialist at Teradata, focusing on data architecture and the development of transformation pipelines for clients in the telecommunications and finance sectors. With a foundational experience as a co-founder at YellowHammock and an academic background that includes a Master of Science in Information Systems from WU Vienna and a Bachelor’s degree in Manager Informatics from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Jan possesses a comprehensive skill set in data management and software development.
