Solmaz Makouee

Solmaz Makouee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Solmaz currently serves as the Vice President of Sales - Americas at Userful, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Solmaz worked as the Director Key Accounts and Sales Director - Eastern US & Canada for Userful. Solmaz began their career in 2000 as a Document Controller at SAFF Co., followed by a position as a Document Controller and Project Coordinator at WorleyParsons from 2003 to 2005. Solmaz then joined Statoil as a Senior IT Specialist / Records Information Management from 2005 to 2009. Solmaz also worked at Namad Sazeh Arvand Co. as a Document Controller / IT Help Desk from 2009 to 2013. Throughout their career, Solmaz has gained expertise in sales, account management, document control, IT support, and project coordination.

Solmaz Makouee completed the Corporate Readiness Training Program (CRTP) at Bow Valley College from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Italian Language and Literature from the University of Tehran, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Solmaz has also obtained certifications in "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit" and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
