Matt Young

Chief Executive Officer at UserVoice

Matt Young began their career as a Senior Analyst at Duke University in 1996 and remained in that role until 2007. Matt then joined Vodori as Vice President and CTO, where they were responsible for software development, team recruitment and growth, and technology direction. Matt worked at Vodori until 2015. In 2015, Matt joined UserVoice as the Vice President of Engineering, where they managed the technology arm of the company including application architecture, security, software development process, and team management. Matt was promoted to President of UserVoice in 2019 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer, focused on delivering an improved product to customers.

Matt Young attended Syracuse University from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 1993 to 1995, they pursued higher education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matt obtained the Spring Certified Professional certification in May 2010.
