Gail Cotton

Gail Cotton has extensive work experience in athletics human resources, primarily at USF Athletics. Gail started as an Administrative Clerk in 2019 and was promoted to the role of Athletics Human Resources Administrative Specialist in 2021. In 2021, they moved to the University of South Florida as an Assistant Director of Athletics Human Resources and is currently working as the Director of Athletics Human Resources at USF Athletics since 2022.

Gail Cotton has a Master's degree in Community Health Services/Liaison/Counseling from Villanova University Department of Education and Counseling. Gail obtained this degree from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Temple University, which they completed from 1983 to 1987. In terms of additional certifications, Gail has obtained several through LinkedIn. These certifications include Enhancing Resilience (obtained in June 2020), Working Remotely (obtained in March 2020), Being an Effective Team Member (obtained in February 2020), and Hiring, Managing, and Separating from Employees (obtained in February 2020).
