GG Rao is an accomplished IT and Digitization professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across leading companies. Currently serving as VP IT & Digitization at Usha International since November 2015, GG Rao has spearheaded initiatives in go-to-market strategies, IoT implementation, and big data analytics. Prior to this, GG Rao held the position of Sr VP Enterprise Systems at HCL Infosystems Ltd, where responsibilities included managing system integration during mergers and restructuring IT architecture. As Chief Information Officer at HCL Services, GG Rao focused on developing IT strategies and implementing business agility through cloud and mobile platforms. GG Rao's earlier roles in Tata BlueScope Steel and Tata Steel emphasized architecting IT solutions and managing plant automation projects. GG Rao holds a Master's degree in Industrial Electronics from NIT Jamshedpur and IIMC.
