Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer with over a decade of expertise in developing collaborative solutions and innovative educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has been instrumental in the design and development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational accessories. Prior experience includes roles as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
