Charlie Usherwood

Charlie Usherwood is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Usherwood Office Technology. In Charlie’s capacity he is responsible for the development of security, infrastructure and business applications. Those include, but are not limited to Usherwood’s Managed IT Services, Managed Print, Managed Security lines of business. He is also responsible for Usherwood’s service group and is a member of the Usherwood Leadership Team. Charlie began his career at Usherwood in 1982 working in the newly formed computer group. In 1990, during a brief departure of Usherwood, Charlie was a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He rejoined Usherwood in 1999 as Chief Technology Officer and in 2001 obtained Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. At the same time Usherwood Office Technology became a Microsoft Gold Partner. During the tenure of Charlie’s leadership at Usherwood, he has grown our service group to over 50 service engineers and technicians. In addition, Charlie has helped lead the growth of Usherwood’s complete managed IT services and commits himself to high levels of achievement by introducing training programs that continually strengthen Usherwood’s capabilities. Charlie and his wife Karen reside in Tampa, Florida. They have three children and six grandchildren. In his spare time, Charlie enjoys fishing the flats.
