Matthew Chasen is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the technology and transportation sectors. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of LIFT Aircraft since September 2017, Matthew advocates for innovative flight solutions. In addition, as Co-founder and Chairman of Hitch since July 2018, Matthew aims to modernize city-to-city travel by reviving hitchhiking in a safe and efficient manner. Matthew also founded uShip in 2003, the largest online marketplace for shipping, and served as CEO until 2016, earning numerous accolades, including "Best CEO" from the Austin Business Journal. In 2014, Matthew became the Founder and CEO of ATX Seed Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund targeting Austin's emerging companies. Prior to these roles, Matthew gained experience at Boeing and NASA. Matthew holds an MBA in Private Equity Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BSME from The University of Texas at Austin.
