Edward J. Bowler

Edward J. Bowler is the current CFO & Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at USI. Prior to joining USI in 1997, Mr. Bowler was Chief Financial Officer of Acordia of California (now Wells Fargo Insurance). In addition, Mr. Bowler was a member of three Boards of Directors within the Acordia family of companies: Pennsylvania, Louisville, and Arizona. Edward became part of the Acordia management team in 1993 when Acordia acquired American Business Insurance (ABI).

Before their time at Acordia of California, Mr. Bowler was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ABI where they were responsible for a wide span of financial, operational, and administrative functions.

Mr. Bowler's career began as a Divisional Controller at Genstar Corporation from 1983 to 1988. Edward then went on to work as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1979 to 1983.

Edward J. Bowler attended California State University, Humboldt where they studied accounting and earned their Bachelor's Degree.
