Liz Vanderwerff

Liz Vanderwerff has extensive experience in strategic partnerships and communications across various organizations. From June 2019 to October 2021, Liz served as Sr. Manager and earlier as Associate at Usona Institute. Subsequently, Liz became the Executive Director at Deep Living Lab from October 2021 to February 2025. Prior roles include Program Manager at Healthy Minds Innovations and Sr. Development Specialist and Associate Research Specialist at the Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin–Madison. Liz's educational background includes a B.S. in Biology with a focus on Ecology and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, completed in December 2008, and a Regenerative Practitioner Certificate from the Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice, earned in June 2023.
