Valeriya S.

Valeriya S. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Valeriya started their career as a Visiting Researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology, Laboratory of Optics, Photonics, and Microwave Engineering in 2000. Valeriya then worked as a Researcher/PhD student at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Centre of Nanoelectronics and Novel from 1997 to 2003.

In 2004, Valeriya joined Effective Soft Ltd. as a Scientific Expert (remote) before becoming a Post Doc at the Paul Scherrer Institute, Laboratory for Micro- and Nanotechnology from 2005 to 2006. Valeriya then worked as a Design Engineer at Photeon Technologies GmbH from 2007 to 2011.

Valeriya's career continued at System Industrie Electronic GmbH, where they served as an Innovation & Product Manager from 2013 to 2015. After a sabbatical from 2015 to 2016, they joined USound GmbH as a Project Manager from 2018 to 2019 and later became a Product Manager. Currently, Valeriya holds the position of Head of Product Management at USound GmbH.

Valeriya S. started their education in 1991 at Belarusian State Polytechnic Academy, where they pursued a Diploma Degree in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Devices. Valeriya completed their studies in 1997. In 1997, Valeriya S. joined Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics for their PhD Degree in Photonics and Nanotechnology, which they obtained in 2003. After a few years, in 2012, they attended WIFI Dornbirn in Austria and obtained a Diploma in Product Management. Later in 2016, Valeriya S. attended a Leadership Principles Seminar at BFI Steiermark in Graz.
