Ben Clarke

Ben Clarke is a highly experienced scientific professional with a focus on cell biology and biochemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at US Pharmacopeia since April 2021, Ben previously held the role of Senior Scientist I within the same organization. Prior experience includes a Scientist position at GSK from 2018 to April 2021, and a Scientist role at the National Institutes of Health from 2014 to 2018, where research centered on sphingolipids and their roles in metabolism, immunology, and physiology. Additional roles include Scientist II at Janssen, where work involved the formulation of cell growth mediums and optimization of bioreactor processes, as well as a researcher and PhD candidate at Cornell University focusing on acyltransferases and lipases in cellular processes. Early career experience includes a position as a Research Associate at Locus Pharmaceuticals, contributing to pre-clinical development.
