Charlie Koo

Charlie Koo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program coordination and volunteer engagement, currently serving as the Senior Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at the US Pharmacopeia since June 2016. Responsibilities include maintaining volunteer membership data, supporting volunteer on-/off-boarding processes, and managing internal and external inquiries regarding the volunteer program. Previously, Charlie worked as a Program Coordinator for the USAID-funded Promoting the Quality of Medicines initiative, and held several roles including Senior Program Officer at the American Bar Association, International Program Officer at the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, and Projects Officer at the International Monetary Fund. With a robust educational background comprising Master of Science degrees in Nutritional Sciences (Cornell University) and Foreign Service (Georgetown University), along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (Cornell University), Charlie has effectively managed numerous international projects, contributed to grant proposals, and facilitated significant programmatic initiatives across diverse regions.
