Pierre Burguière

Pierre Burguière, PhD, currently serves as a USP Senior Expert volunteer in Probiotics, Live Biotherapeutics, and Microbiome at the US Pharmacopeia and is a part-time University Lecturer at Université Paris Cité, teaching BSc Industrial Microbiology & Biotechnologies. Additional roles include Adjunct Professor at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique and Deputy CEO & Scientific Director at GenoScreen, where responsibilities encompass global management and strategic direction. Pierre has previously held significant positions at GenSight Biologics, AMA Research Solutions, Lallemand, and Danone, contributing expertise in microbial analytics and preclinical research, and is actively involved in multiple scientific communities and organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the French Association for Cytometry. Pierre's academic background includes multiple degrees in Microbiology and Biotechnology, culminating in a PhD from Université Paris Cité.
